Tiffany Jacobs Appointed as Forge Greensboro’s New Executive Director
Greensboro, NC - Forge Greensboro appoints Tiffany Jacobs as the organizations new Executive Director.
Tiffany Jacobs has served on the board of directors for the Forge Greensboro since 2018, and has been a member of the organization's Executive Committee as DEI Officer and serves on the Grants Committee. Her passion for providing equitable access to opportunity for those throughout the community is unparalleled. She has worked for ApprenticeshipNC for the past four years as the Piedmont Triad Regional Apprenticeship Coordinator. ApprenticeshipNC is part of the Economic Development Division of the North Carolina Community College System. In this role, Tiffany covered 11 counties across the Piedmont Triad Region of North Carolina, assisting employers in developing registered apprenticeship programs to meet high demand business and industry needs. She has spearheaded several collaborative partnerships, career exploration programs and workforce development initiatives for the Forge.
Tiffany was a recipient of the 2022 Outstanding Women in Business award and the 2023 Leaders in Diversity award, issued by the Triad Business Journal. She continues to work tirelessly to aid in creating a better-skilled, diverse workforce to not only close the skills gap, but the equity gap, to increase economic development opportunities throughout the state of North Carolina. She firmly believes that diversity is a prerequisite for creativity and innovation.
